The Horus Journal is a series of essays, films and visual works from across the 'old world'. The page is curated by Ramy Danial, an Egyptian-Austrian journalist, filmmaker and photographer.
The Journal
Research is the central focus of the Journal, covering religion, culture, conflict and everything else in-between. The current research initiative is on the Sahel Region of West Africa - reporting on the 'coup belt', Senegal elections and French foreign policy.
Horus's tagline in Arabic is 'نركز على عالم قديم' which translates to 'Focus On The Old World'.
